Govt committed to solving masses problems: Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (APP): Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday said the government is committed to solving problems of people at their doorsteps. He said this while talking to Pakistan Peoples Party Secretary General and former Water and Power Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf who called on him here.
 Pervaiz Ashraf informed the Minister about NADRA and Machine Readable Passport (MRP) issues, being faced by people of Gujar Khan.
 Rehman Malik said PPP was the party of people and believed on practical steps to address problems of masses.
 He assured the former minister that the ministry will take all possible steps to solve problems regarding NADRA Machine Readable Passport and about overseas Pakistanis.
The Minister said passport offices and its staff will be increased abroad.
He urged the Pakistanis living abroad to use legal channels to send money to their families as this step will increase the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
 Raja Pervaiz Ashraf thanked the Interior Minister for establishing Passport and NADRA offices in Gujar Khan.
