UN Special Representative to Afghanistan calls on Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (APP): United Nations Secretary General Special Representative to Afghanistan Jan Cubis called on Interior Minister A Rehman Malik here on Monday.They discussed issues of regional and bilateral interests.  The UN envoy also delivered a goodwill message of UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon to the Interior Minister.    Rehman Malik on the occasion said that Pakistan wanted a stable, strong and peaceful Afghanistan.He lauded the steps taken by United Nations for the regional peace and hoped that the world body would continue its positive role in this regard.Jan Cubis appreciated Pakistan for its efforts for for peace in Afghanistan.
