Rehman Malik meets Iranian President |
ISLAMABAD, Feb 17 (APP): Minister for Interior A. Rehman Malik on Friday met President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.Both the leaders discussed the matters of mutual interest and issues of
border management and human smuggling also came under discussion.The minister also held a separate meeting with High Commissioner of Pakistan in India, Shahid Malik.The minister was briefed on the visit of judicial commission to India. Rehman Malik said that judicial commission would visit India on March 12 and directed High Commissioner to inform India about this visit. Meanwhile, The minister also met former President of International Cricket Council Ehsan Mani. The minister asked him to play his role for arranging Pak-India series. He said that Pakistan would provide foolproof security to cricket team of Bangladesh, adding that people of both countries love cricket. He said that series of cricket matches between both countries would be held at Islamabad and Karachi. |
