Rehman Malik holds meeting with Sindh Governor

       
KARACHI, Oct 18 (APP):  Interior Minister Rehman Malik, met with  Sindh Governor  Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here on Monday evening.An official statement said that they discussed the prevailing situation as well as matters pertaining to the law and order.It said that they also discussed the decisions made today regarding the law and order.The Governor and Interior Minister made it clear that action would be initiated without any distinction or pressure against those involved in criminal activities and that the lives and property of the people would be protected at every cost.
Dr. Ishrat appreciated the cooperation extended by Rehman Malik on matters pertaining to the law and order in the province and added that the interior Minister always plays an effective role towards removing the impediment in political and administrative matters.
The Interior Minister lauded the role of Sindh Governor in strengthening the process of reconciliation.
He also assured that the Federal Government would extend the province every possible cooperation towards improving the situation.
