Balochistan package to bring prosperity in province: Malik 

      
ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP): Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that the Balochistan package was being implemented affectively for prosperity of the province.He was talking to a delegation from Balochistan, headed by Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, who called on him here at the Ministry of Interior.The two sides discussed law and order situation and increasing cases of kidnapping for ransom in the province.Malik said the government is taking practical measures for maintaining peace in the province, adding the provincial government was also taking pragmatic steps to curb kidnapping for ransom.
Meanwhile, the Minister appreciated efforts of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa police for safe recovery of a kidnapped doctor.
The Minister asked IGP KPK to give the names of officials who took part in the episode.
Senator Ghulam Ali was also present during the meeting.
