Ambulances’ owners asked to get registration certificate: Malik       
ISLAMABAD, Dec 10 (APP):Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Friday said that no ambulance will be allowed to operate in Federal capital without proper registration certificate during Muharram.“All the private ambulances are to be registered immediately with the Islamabad Administration and no ambulance will be allowed to operate in Federal capital without proper registration certificate”, he said.Malik said the security arrangements during Muharram have been ordered to be enhanced in whole the country and Islamabad is being given special attention.
The chief Commissioner ICT and the Inspector General of Police have been directed to ensure peace and security during the holy month of Muharram.
In case of any kidnapping or robbery the SHO concerned will be included in the FIR and DSP concerned will be suspended with immediate effect, he said.
The law and order and security of the people will be primarily responsibility of the local SHO, he added.
