Malik describes cricket match a game,not war between India, Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, Mar 29 (APP): Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that there was no need to create hype of Pakistan India cricket match to avoid unnecessary pressure on players. Talking to the reporters outside the Parliament House, he said “It is just a game and not a war between Pakistan and India, we should keep our team’s morale high and creating hype caste negitive impact on our players performance,” He said cricket diplomacy has brought Pakistan and India closer as improved relations between the two countries is inevitable for the regional peace.
Replying to question Malik said nation is praying for the victory of Pakistani cricket team and players should focus on their performance.
To a question he said “I will accompany the Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani during his Indian visit which would help boost morale and relationship between the two countries.”
He hoped for Pakistan cricket team’s victory.
Interior Minister said every citizen of Pakistan trusts in Pakistani team and they are happy with their so far performance.
