Saudi envoy calls on interior minister Rehman Malik

Saudi ambassador Abdul Aziz Bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik here Sunday in a peaceful atmosphere. The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and matters pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries, says a press release issued here.

The minister said Pakistan accords importance to its relations with brotherly Muslim country, Saudi Arabia that had always helped Pakistan in difficult times.

He said Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations would be further promoted and strengthened.

The visiting ambassador said his country valued its relations with Pakistan and the ties between the two countries would further augment in future.

He also expressed condolences with the interior minister over the sad demise of his mother-in-law.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
