Malik for resolving passport problems of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia
ISLAMABAD, June 29 (APP): Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday directed the Director General (DG) Passport to address passport issues of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia on priority basis.He was talking to newly appointed Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan here at Interior Ministry. Director General Passport Syed Wajid Bokhari also present on the occasion.They discussed the matters relating to NADRA and passports of  Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.The Interior Minister ordered to provide passport mobile service and deploy passport dealing staff to facilitate the community.
He also ordered that old passports with issued visa or residential permit would be attached with new Machine Readable Passports (MRP) and they would not be cancelled.
The minister asked the Overseas Pakistanis to remit their money through proper channel (banks) so that foreign exchange reserves of the country may be increased.
