Political backing to produce results in action against miscreants: Ebad, Rehman Malik
KARACHI, Aug 8 (APP):  Federal Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik and  Sindh Governor Dr.Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan on Monday said that political backing of administrative action  against miscreants and terrorists  would play a vital role in producing results.They said this during a meeting at Governor House here, according to  a statement.They held a detailed discussion on steps taken with regard to control law and order situation in Karachi.They expressed determination to take all possible measures to maintain law and order in the Sindh metropolis and agreed that all decisions in that regard would be made without any discrimination.
Rehman Malik and the Sindh Governor agreed that the economic development of the country  was linked with peace in the city and there was a consensus  among all political parties in this regard.
 They hailed the role played by the Rangers and other law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order in the city.
