Rehman thanks UAE for flood victims help       
ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP): Minister for Interior, A. Rehman Malik on Tuesday expressed his gratitude on behalf of people of Pakistan for the assistance provided by UAE government and its organizations for relief of flood victims in the country. He was talking to outgoing UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Saif Sultan Al Awani, who called on the Minister here and discussed matters of mutual interests. Rehman Malik said “Pakistan gives special importance to its ties with UAE and appreciated the role of Ambassador Al Awani in further cementing the bilateral relations between the two countries”.

He termed the tenure of UAE’s Ambassador in Pakistan as successful and said he also played an important role in further promoting bilateral cooperation in different areas of economy.
The Ambassador said President of UAE has affection and special place in his heart for the Pakistani people, by pointing out that his country would always be at the forefront whenever Pakistan requires help.
He thanked the government and A. Rehman Malik for the cooperation during his stay in Pakistan as Ambassador.
