Rehman Malik holds meeting with MQM, ANP delegations

       
KARACHI, Aug 6 (APP): Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, here on Friday held a meeting with the delegations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Awami National Party (ANP).The meeting took place at the National Crisis Management Cell’s Liaison Office Karachi.At the outset Fateha was offered for those killed in the recent air crash of the Air Blue plane and those who became victim of the target killings in the city.
The MQM delegation at the meeting consisted of Provincial Minister Raza Haroon, Wasay Jalil, Kanwar Naveed Jamil and Hammad Siddiqui.
The ANP delegation was represented by its Secretary General of Sindh, Amin Khattak, senior leader Afrasyab Khattak and Bashir Jan.
Speaking on the occasion, Rehman Malik thanked the delegations of the MQM and ANP. He also lauded the cooperation extended by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and ANP leader Asfandar Yar Wali.
Rehman Malik said that both the delegations would meet Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, in Karachi later this evening.
He said that the delegation of both the parties would ponder over the problems with a view to sort them out.
