Interior Minister presents Rs 100 million cheque for PM flood relief fund 

      
ISLAMABAD, Aug 18 (APP): Minister for Interior Rehman Malik along with Chairman NADRA on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM House and presented Rs 100 million cheque for the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund, contributed by the NADRA officials.The prime minister lauded the contribution by the NADRA officials and said that it would help intensify the government’s efforts for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people.
The prime minister said that the damage and destruction caused by the unprecedented floods is enormous and beyond the capacity of federal and provincial governments.
However, with joint efforts, commitment and strong will, the sufferings of the people of flood affected areas can be minimized.
He said that the government is trying its level best to reduce  the hardships of people and all available resources are being utilized in this regard.
