PESHAWAR, (MILLAT ONLINE):The Deputy Commissioner (DC) has under section 144 Cr.P.C prohibited
writing and distribution of objectionable pamphlets and posters or wall chalking
specially on Mosques and Imambargahs during Chehlum.
He also imposed ban on printing and circulation of objectionable materials, movement of Afghan
Refugees out of camps, playing of cassettes/CD’s in shops, open places, markets, sale and use of Fire Crackers,
use of loud speakers during Chehlum, other than `Aazan’ and `Khutabas’, said an official statement here on Friday.
“Anyone found violating this order will be proceeded against under section 188 P.P.C and
this order will come into force forthwith and remain enforced for 8-days (w.e.f Nov 5) unless modified or withdrawn”.
