LAHORE, Sept 11 (APP): The Health Department has sought
applications from qualified candidates for appointment
of 700 emergency medical officers (EMOs) in the province.
A spokesman for the department said that revamping of
emergency departments of 25 District Headquarters Hospitals
(DHQs) and 15 Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals (THQs) would be
carried out during the current financial year. For the purpose,
the Primary & Secondary Health Department Punjab has sought
applications for recruitment of men and women EMOs.
The spokesman said that the EMOs would be recruited on
two-year contract basis under the Punjab Government Contractual
Appointment Policy.
He said that the appointments would be hospital specific and
non-transferable. Special pay package (lump sum) from Rs 150,000
to 250,000 would be given per month to the EMOs, he added.
Online applications have been invited till Sept 30, 2017
till 4pm.
