Indian police arrest Yasin Malik in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): Indian police arrested the Chairman
of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in
Srinagar in Indian occupied Kashmir on Friday.
A JKLF spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said that the
police took into custody Muhammad Yasin Malik along with JKLF
zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad after raiding the party office at
Aabi Guzar in Srinagar, Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.
The spokesman said that the police team also searched the
office. He said that both leaders were immediately shifted to
Srinagar Central Jail on a 4-day judicial remand.
He strongly condemned the arrest of the party leaders.
