ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP): The Returning Officer (RO) will
start receiving nomination papers from candidates for bye-election
in constituency NA-4 Peshawar-IV from September 18 to 20.
According to an official of Election Commission of Pakistan
(ECP), the dates of scrutiny of nomination papers by the Returning
Officer will be September 21-23.
He said that the last date for filing of appeals against
decisions of the Returning Officer rejecting or accepting the
nomination papers will be September 27.
He said that the last date for deciding of appeals by the
appellate tribunal will be October 2 while the last date for
withdrawal of candidates will be October 3.
The official said that the publication of revised list of
candidates will be October 4.
He said that the bye-election will be held on October 26
in NA-4 Peshawar-IV to fill the seat which has become vacant due
to death of MNA Gulzar Khan.
