OPF Complaint Cell receives 2,497 Overseas Pakistanis complaints

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Complaint cell of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has resolved 1,067 complaints of overseas Pakistanis and their families out of total 2,497 complaints received during the last two years.

According to an official source, the complaint cell of OPF has received around 2,497 complaints, settled 1,067 cases while 1,430 cases were under process.

Overseas Pakistanis Division has been managing an online system since February 2016 for registration and redressal of grievances of Overseas Pakistanis.

However, considering the duplication of registration of complaints in the Ministry as well as OPF, the system has been centralized under OPF and further upgraded to facilitate the Overseas Pakistanis and their families.

Further, OPF Monitoring/ Complaint Cell is functioning seven days a week with effect from 26-06-2013 at OPF head office.

The main function of the cell is to facilitate the Overseas Pakistanis any time through Help Line (111-040-040).

Listing the other steps, the official source revealed that Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) Secretariat Islamabad has appointed a Grievances Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis for resolving the complaints of Overseas Pakistanis.

Punjab government has established Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab (OPC) for resolving the problems of the overseas Pakistanis and registering their complaints through online system.
