PML-N wants Nawaz Sharif to lead as party president: Saad Rafique

ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP): Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad
Rafique on Friday said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N),
had expressed desire about Nawaz Sharif to lead the party as
its President.
The Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf did
not vote against the bill presented in the Assembly for amendment,
he said while talking to a private news channel.
After the amendment, Nawaz Sharif could lead the PML-N as
party President, he said.
This amendment would also help benefit the leaders of the
other political parties, he said.
Hindrance was made for Nawaz Sharif to complete the
constitutional tenures as elected prime minister, he said.
The PML-N wanted to continue work for supremacy of
constitution, law and the parliament, he said.
