Rain-thunderstorm likely at isolated places

ISLAMABAD, Sep 11 (APP): Rain-thunderstorm is expected at
isolated places in Khaber Pakhtunkhawa, Punjab, Capital, upper FATA
and Gilgit-Baltistan in next 24 hours while hot and humid weather
to continue elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall is likely at Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat,
Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, upper
FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. A westerly wave is
effecting upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told
APP.
In last 24 hours rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered
places in D.G khan, Zhob divisions, KP, upper Punjab, FATA, Kashmir
& Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Punjab: Islamabad
(Z.P 43mm, Saidpur 36mm, Golra 23mm, Bokra 11mm), Murree 12mm,
Chakwal 11mm, M.B. Din 09mm, Mangla 07mm, Gujrat 06mm, Kamra 05mm,
Jhelum, Kasur, Mianwali 03mm, Gujranwala, Joharabad 01mm, KP: Dir
29mm, Kohat 26mm, Balakot 22mm, Malamjabba 11mm, Cherat 09mm, Bannu
07mm, Mirkhani 05mm, Drosh 04mm, Peshawar 03mm, Chitral, Pattan,
Kakul 02mm, Saidu Sharif 01mm, Kashmir: Garhi Dupatta 28mm,
Rawalakot 17mm, Muzaffarabad 16mm, Kotli 06mm, GB: Bagrote 05mm,
Gilgit 02mm, Hunza, Chillas 01mm and Balochistan: Zhob 02mm.
