ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP): Special Assistant to Prime Minister for
Economic Affairs, Miftah Ismail on Friday said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan
Abbasi courageously and comprehensively highlighted Kashmir and Afghanistan
issues in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held meetings with UNGA Secretary General and
highlighted Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir and
also demanded him to appoint an Envoy, who will observe Kashmir worse
situation, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said the Prime Minister held meeting with United States (US) Vice
President and presented Pakistan’s stance.
Miftah Ismail said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi asserted to US to trace
out political solution of all issues.
He informed that US would send its delegation to Pakistan soon to
talk on issues.
Miftah Ismail said the Prime Minister wanted to engage with Afghan
President Ashraf Ghani to resolve Afghanistan issue.
