Capital to have Smart Schools soon

ISLAMABAD, Sep 25 (APP): The authorities concerned have
allocated Rs. 200 million to establish implement a project called –
Establishment of Smart Schools in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The allocation for project has been ensured under Public
Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for current fiscal year.
According to Capital Administration and Development Division
here on Monday, basic aim of the project was to change culture and
practices by moving away from memory-based learning designed for
average student to an education that stimulates thinking and
understanding in students.
The project has been approved by CDWP forum at a capital cost
of Rs.630.944 million. Authorization and Administration approval has
also been issued
