ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): Pakistan Tourism Development
Corporation (PTDC) is planning to establish new motels in Gilgit-
Baltistan in order to facilitate tourists from across the world.
According to official of PTDC, on the directives of Managing
Director PTDC, a plan had been devised to construct new motels in various
areas of Gilgit Balitistan.
The official further said that a number of new places had been also
identified for developing infrastructure in various areas like
Shigar valley of Gilgit Baltistan.
He said that Shigar valley is attracting thousands of tourists
from across the country.
He said that the new tourist resorts would help in increasing
tourists flow and provide state of the art accommodation facility to
the tourists.
He said that in current season, most of the motels remained
booked and their was rush of domestic tourists from across the
country.
He said that ratio of foreign tourists also increased and more
people were expected to visit the beautiful northern areas of Pakistan
to enjoy natural beauty.
