European stock markets recoil at open

LONDON, Nov 2, (APP/AFP) – Europe’s main stock dropped at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.5 percent at 6,881.03 points. In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 lost 0.8 percent to 10,444.60 points and the Paris CAC 40 index shed 0.7 percent to 4,437.99 compared with Tuesday’s close.
