Hong Kong, Shanghai stocks end week on low

HONG KONG,(APP/AFP) – Hong Kong and Shanghai shares tumbled Friday with energy firms hit by a slump in oil prices while investors await the release of US jobs data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.69 percent, or 142.75 points, to close at
20,564.17.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.95 percent, or 28.76 points, to 2,988.09, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, eased 0.14 percent, or 2.86 points, to 2,012.29.
