Hong Kong stocks end down on global economy fears

HONG KONG, (APP/AFP): Hong Kong stocks sank Wednesday, in
line with a regional sell-off following losses in New York and Europe as investors grow concerned about the state of the world economy.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong fell 0.73 percent, or 151.11 points,
to 20,525.83.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index flipped back and forth before
ending slightly lower, giving up 1.37 points to 2,991.27. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, slipped 0.02 percent, or 0.40 points, to 1,928.63.
