Hong Kong stocks end morning higher

HONG KONG, (Millat + APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks
extended their gains to a third day Friday as traders welcomed Donald Trump’s promise to provide details of his tax-cut plans while Chinese trade data beat expectations.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.55 percent, or 130.14 points, to 23,655.28.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.43 percent, or 13.56 points, to 3,196.74, but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, slid 0.15 percent, or 2.94 points, to 1,951.68.
