ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The prices of fruits and vegetables
overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the
federal capital here on Monday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato sold at Rs 29 per kilogram,
Onion Rs 28, Tomato Rs 32, Ginger Rs 125, Garlic (China) Rs 298,
Garlic Local 320, Lemon Rs 49, Lady Finger Rs 110/75, Pumpkin Rs 52,
Brinjal Rs 30, Peas Rs 49, Fresh Bean Rs 38, Tinda Walaiti (Imported
gourd small) Rs 36, Capsicum Rs 65/50, Green Chilli Rs 49,
Cauliflower Rs 24/16, Cabbage Rs 35, Bitter Gourd Rs 85/60, Spinach
Rs 18/12, Radish Rs 14, Turnip Rs 23,Yam Rs 65, Maroo Rs 28, Carrot
Rs 25, Chicken Rs 102 and Egg per dozen Rs 120.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium
quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 118/80,
Apple Golden Rs 90/65, Apple White Rs 80/50, Apple China Rs 170/140,
Banana Pak Rs 88/46, Grapes Toffee Rs 150/130, Guava 70/36,
Pomegranate Rs 168/125, Musumi Rs 85/60, Shakri Rs 94/70, Kino Rs
88/58, Fruiter Rs 68/40, Pear China Rs 142/125.
