ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The prices of fruits and vegetables
overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the
federal capital here on Wednesday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato sold at Rs 26 per kilogram,
Onion Rs 28, Tomato Rs 31, Ginger Rs 105/75, Garlic (China) Rs 285,
Garlic Local 320, Lemon Rs 55, Lady Finger Rs 75, Pumpkin Rs 65,
Brinjal Rs 55, Peas Rs 45, Fresh Bean Rs 35, Tinda Walaiti (Imported
gourd small) Rs 40, Cucumber Rs 45, Capsicum Rs 65/40, Green Chilli
Rs 44, Cauliflower Rs 24, Cabbage Rs 30, Bitter Gourd Rs 85/50,
Spinach Rs 15, Radish Rs 16, Turnip Rs 24,Yam Rs 75, Maroo Rs 28,
Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 122 and Egg per dozen Rs 121.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium
quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 115/90,
Apple Golden Rs 85/55, Apple White Rs 90/60, Apple China Rs
165/130, Banana Pak Rs 75/45, Grapes Toffee Rs 150/130, Guava 65/40,
Pomegranate Rs 180/120, Musumi Rs 120/100, Shakri Rs 140/110, Kino
Rs 76/50, Fruiter Rs 80/50, Pear China Rs 160/140.
