ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): The prices of fruits and
vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in price
of some items in the federal capital here on Wednesday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato was sold at Rs 27 per
kilogram, Onion Rs 32, Tomato Rs 82, Ginger Rs 88, Garlic
(China) Rs 292, Garlic Local 232, Lemon Rs 135, Pumpkin Rs 65,
Brinjal Rs 55, Peas Rs 40, Fresh Bean Rs 56, Tinda Walaiti
(Imported gourd small) Rs 32, Cucumber Rs 29, Capsicum Rs 63/42,
Green Chilli Rs 140, Cauliflower Rs 31/20, Cabbage Rs 26, Green
Zucchini Rs 84, Spinach Rs 16/12, Raddish Rs 17, Turnip Rs 22, Yam
Rs 75, Maroo Rs 29, Carrot Rs 26, Chicken Rs 162 and Egg per dozen
Rs 77.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and
medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs
132/100, Apple Golden Rs 110/70, Apple White Rs 105/70, Apple
China Rs 205/145, Banana Pak Rs 108/60, Banana India Rs 148/125,
Guava 102/55, Pomegranate Rs 215/60, Kino Rs 82/50, Pear China Rs
155/125, Melon Rs 80/55, Strawberry Rs 240/180.
