Punjab budget termed historic, pro-people

FAISALABAD, June 13 (APP): Various segments of the society,
terming the Punjab Budget 2016-17 as historic and pro-people
said that it will help in improving the life standard of the
masses especially farmers by boosting up trade and commercial
activities in the province.
Giving reaction here on Monday night, former senior vice
president Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI)
Sheikh Nadeem said that Punjab government has presented a
historic budget by allocating maximum funds for the agriculture,
health and education sectors.
He said that allocation of Rs 52.3 billion for agriculture
would not only help the farmers to mitigate their financial
burdens but also help to transform this sector on modern
scientific lines besides boosting up agriculture productivity
in the province.
Similarly, the Punjab government has allocated more than
62 percent of the budgets which clearly indicates that the
Punjab government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister
Punjab Shahbaz Sharif is committed and sincere to provide best
health facilities at the door steps of the masses.
Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Fatima Fareeha also termed
the Punjab budget as historic one and said that Punjab government
is committed to implement people welfare and betterment policies.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said, Punjab government
has allocated huge funds for development projects.
