KARACHI, (APP): Five ships C.V Jazan, C.V Washington,
C.V NYK Furano, M.V Pelajca and M.T Brizo carrying containers, project
cargo and furnace oil were allotted berths at Qasim International
Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTOC Oil Terminal
respectively on Monday.
Meanwhile five more ships carrying containers, project cargo,
furnace oil and chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port
Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was observed at the port at 67% on Monday where a
total of ten ships namely C.V Jazon, C.V Washington, C.V NYK Furano,
M.V Johar Express, M.V Amalthia, M.V Pelajca, M.T Oriental Pine, M.T
Navigs Exceisiors, M.T Sam Pride and M.T Brizo were occupied PQA
berths to load/offloac containers, cement, soya bean seeds, project
cargo, chemicals, diesel oil palm oil and furnace oil respectively
during last 24 hours.
Three ships, M.V Pelajca, C.V Jazan and M.T Orient Pine sailed
out to sea on Tuesday morning, while two more ships, C.V Washington
and C.V NYK Furano are expected to sail on same day.
Four ships C.V Maersk Atlanta, M.T Yas, M.V Hope Star and M.V
Cerulean carrying containers, LPG and project cargo are expected t
take berths at Container Terminal, Engro Terminal and Multi Purpose
Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
