KARACHI, (APP): Three ships C.V Xpress Kailash, M.V Da Yu
Xia and M.T Delia-I carrying containers, Project cargo and Palm oil
were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi
Purpose Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively during last
24 hours.
Meanwhile another Edible Oil carrier `Rudolf Schulte’ also
arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim (PQ) during the same period.
Berth occupancy was maintained at the Port at fifty three percent
on Sunday where a total of eight sips namely C.V Xpress Kailash, C.V
MSC Texas, C.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Diamond Sea, M.V Sea Wave, M.V Da
Yu Xia, M.V Alpha Flame and M.T Delia-I are currently occupying berths
to load/ offload Containers, Cement, Project Cargo, Canola Seeds and
Palm Oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port
where a cargo volume volume of 87,751 tonnes, comprising 39,852 tonnes
imports and 47,899 tonnes exports, inclusive of containerized cargo
carried in 3,363 Containers (TEUs) (842 TEUs imports and 2,521 TEUS
Exports) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
Containers ship, `Safmarine Ngami’ sailed out to sea on Monday
morning, while two more ships C.V MSC Texas and C.V Xpress Kailash are
expected to sail on same day (today).

Two ships C.V Toronto and C.V Al-Safat carrying Containers are
expected to take berths at Container Terminal on Monday, April 11.
While three more ships C.V Maersk Pittsburgh, C.V CMA CGM
Amazon, M.V Bao Yue with Containers and project cargo are due to
arrive at Port Qasim Tuesday, April 12.
