Tokyo stocks up at break after US-Japan summit

TOKYO, (MILLAT/APP/AFP): Tokyo stocks rose Monday morning with
investor sentiment lifted by cordial talks over the weekend between US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 0.54 percent, or 104.45 points,
to 19,483.38 by the break while the Topix index of all first-section issues was up 0.61 percent, or 9.51 points, at 1,556.07.
