Tokyo stocks end flat after N.Korea missile launch

TOKYO, May 29, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks closed flat
Monday as North Korea’s latest missile launch had a muted impact on markets, with all eyes on US, Japanese and Chinese economic data this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index closed 0.02 percent, or 4.27 points, lower at 19,682.57, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares gained 0.05 percent, ot 0.79 points, to end the session at 1,570.21.
