Tokyo stocks down, Fed meeting in focus

TOKYO, (MILLAT/APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks eased off
a 15-month high Tuesday as investors took their cash off the table ahead of a key US central bank meeting.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.12 percent, or 24.25 points, to finish at 19,609.50, while the Topix index of all first-section issues fell 0.16 percent, or 2.50 points, to 1,574.90.
