Tokyo’s Nikkei ends higher after see-saw trading on Brexit worries

TOKYO, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo benchmark stock
index ended slightly higher Tuesday after a brief afternoon rally sparked by hopes that the Japanese government would launch special stimulus measures to counter any Brexit-linked hit to the economy.
The Nikkei 225 edged up 0.09 percent, or 13.93 points, in see-saw
trading to end at 15,323.14, after rallying more than two percent on Monday.
The broader Topix index of all first-section shares dipped 0.09
percent, or 1.14 points, to close at 1,224.62.
