ISLAMABAD, Oct 31 (APP): The United Nations said over three hundred million children across the world are suffering from mental and physical growth due to pollution related issues. According to Radio Pakistan reported, United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in its report released on Monday said air pollution is a major contributing factor for the deaths of around six hundred thousand children under five every year. UNICEF said about two billion children live in areas where outdoor air pollution exceeds minimum air-quality guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO).
