ALGIERS, Oct 8, (APP/AFP) – Four armed militants
were killed Friday in an Algerian army operation ea
st of the capital, the country’s defence ministry said.
Soldiers killed the four “terrorists” during the
operation in the Tizi Ouzou region, 110 kilometres (70
miles) east of Algiers, also seizing Kalashnikov-type
weapons, a statement said.
