MOCOA, Colombia, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP/AFP) – Devastating
mudslides in the Colombian town of Mocoa killed at least 254 people, 43 of them children, President Juan Manuel Santos said Sunday, in yet another sharp rise in the death toll.
“Unfortunately, these are still preliminary figures,” tweeted Santos, who traveled to the southern town Sunday to personally supervise relief operations.
