LONDON, June 20 (APP/AA): People gather for the commemoration ceremony
of the Grenfell Tower fire victims at Parliament Square in London, United Kingdom.
The death toll from the Grenfell Tower block fire in west London has
reached 79, the Metropolitan Police confirmed Monday.
The 24 storey residential Grenfell Tower blockwas engulfed in flames
in the late night of June 14.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. However, local media reports
suggest inadequate fire-proofing in the 120-apartment block could be to blame.
