SAO PAULO, March 14 (APP/AFP) – Some 1.4 million
people attended an anti-government protest in Brazil’s biggest city Sao Paulo on Sunday, according to law enforcement authorities.
The state security office for Sao Paulo said the figure represented
the peak of the protest on a central avenue in the city. Smaller, but still
signficant demonstrations took place across Brazil, demanding the impeachment of leftist President Dilma Rousseff.
