ANKARA , (MILLAT/APP) – Police in Turkey detained
Wednesday a fresh suspect in an ongoing investigation over
the killing of Russian ambassador in Ankara, according to a
security source.
The suspect, identified only by his initials as E.B.,
was accused of having phone calls with Andrey Karlov’s
assassin, police officer Mevlut Mert Altintas, the source
said on condition of anonymity.
Police had earlier detained three other suspects,
including a police officer.
Karlov was shot Dec. 19, 2016 by Altintas as the

Turkish capital.
Altintas was later shot dead in an exchange of fire with
security personnel.
