ASTORE, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Gilgit Baltistan (GB) government will construct
Shahra-e-Astore road on modern lines to provide better communication facilities to the area residents besides promoting tourism.
Minister Public Works Department GB, Dr Iqbal Khan told media persons
here that development of GB was the top most priority of the government and CPEC would bring massive development in the area.
“Being a Minister of Public Works department, it is my duty to look
after the ongoing development schemes and progress on projects in pipeline,” he said.
“Repair Shahra-e-Astore is my priority because most of traffic to other
cities passes through it.”
Astore would be made a model city and all resources would be utilized
for betterment of the masses, he concluded.
