ASTORE, (MILLAT/APP): Former Member District council Astore Badar Jamil said Wednesday that government has started several uplift projects in the district to expedite pace of development in the district.
Talking to media here, he said efforts are being made to expedite work on different developmental projects and complete it on time.
He said Astore is a less developed district and people are facing problems especially in winter season due to heavy snowfalls and road blockades.
Badar said the contractors working on different projects are not performing their duties properly. He appealed Deputy Commissioner Astore
and Executive Engineer B&R to take strict actions against the contractors for not completing their work in time.
