ASTORE, Feb 20(APP)::Parliamentary Secretary Health, Barkhat on Tuesday said that Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) government is
taking effective measures for the socio-economic development of the area.
Talking to media persons
here, he said executing agencies and contractors of the all on-going
development projects had been directed to ensure completion of all
schemes within scheduled time.
He said that federal government is also effectively cooperating to successfully
pursue the development-oriented plan for GB and in this regard no laxity
would be show to implement the plan in letter and spirit.
He said that priority was being accorded to the education and health sectors which were
being regarded as backbone to uplift living standard of the masses.
Referring to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) achievements, the parliamentary secretary
said due to prudent polices of the party’s leadership, the country was successfully
going ahead on path of progress and prosperity.
He also said that road network in the area would be further improved to facilitate
masses who had reposed trust in the leadership of PML(N) through their vote in
general elections-2013.
