Hong Kong stocks join global rally at open

HONG KONG, (ًٌٰMILLAT+APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks
rallied almost two percent at the open on Thursday, tracking a global surge as investor concerns over Donald Trump’s shock US election win were soothed by hopes he will boost the world’s top economy.
The Hang Seng index rose 1.93 percent, or 433.55 points, to
22,848.74.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.64 percent, or
20.17 points, to 3,148.54, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, gained 0.74 percent, or 15.24 points, to 2,083.71.
