Hong Kong stocks open slightly higher
Hong Kong, (MILLAT ONLINE):Hong Kong stocks rose soon after the open on Monday, building on last week’s gains, though the advance was limited by profit-taking and a negative lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.19 percent, or 56.21 points, to 29,255.25.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.64 percent, or 21.55 points, to 3,361.36 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, gave up 0.51 percent, or 10.05 points, to 1,944.25.
