Indian police arrest JI leader in Bandipora in IOK

ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP): Indian police have arrested the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) District President in Bandipora. According to Kashmir Media Service, the police arrested the JI leader, Hafiz Sikander Malik, a resident of Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora from Sumlar village while he was on his way to Bandipora after offering Friday prayers. Meanwhile, the police also picked up a youth, Waseem Ahmad,in Plan area of Bandipora during anti-India demonstrations.
