Obama to make historic first presidential visit to Hiroshima: White House

WASHINGTON, (APP/AFP) – Barack Obama will become the
first US president to visit atomic bomb-struck Hiroshima during a trip to Hiroshima later this month, the White House said Tuesday.
“The President will make an historic visit to Hiroshima with Prime
Minister (Shinzo) Abe to highlight his continued commitment to pursuing the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons,” said spokesman Josh Earnest.
